Kitchen Table Empires
Well hello again! You’ve got this bright, shiny idea tumbling around in your head, don’t you? It’s like a gold nugget gleaming in a riverbed, ready for extraction. But how, oh how, do you fish it out, polish it up, and turn it into a business behemoth? Well, welcome to the ultimate treasure map for turning that idea into action, right here, in this business ebook.
Picture this as your mega-awesome business version of a Swiss Army knife, jam-packed with links that’ll teleport you to just the right spot when you need it. Need info on business strategy? Zap! You're there. Stuck on funding options? Wham! Here are your answers. It's like having a 24/7 business consultant, minus the hefty price tag and corporate lingo. Plus, you can always count on our trusty search tool for a keyword-fueled adventure.
Listen, my friend, your entrepreneurial journey isn’t meant to be a carbon copy of someone else’s path. It’s like ordering pizza - some people like pineapple on theirs (controversial, I know), some prefer the simplicity of margherita, and some daredevils venture into anchovy territory. There’s no one-size-fits-all! Your journey, your flavour, your pizza! And guess what? That’s absolutely okay, and deliciously exciting.
So, why did I pen down this ebook, you ask? Because I’ve been there, navigating through the choppy business waters, armed with a rickety raft and a tiny oar, trying to figure out the what, why, and how of it all. With a zillion different resources pulling me in every direction, I felt like a human wishbone. And, let’s be real, that’s not a fun place to be.
That's why Kitchen Table Empires was born, just like a warm, comforting stew simmering on the stove, ready to feed the hungry entrepreneur in you. It's chock-full of all the goodies I wished I had on my journey, ready for you to devour now. I’ve made the mistakes (and got the T-shirts to prove it), so you don't have to.
So go on, dive in! Your empire awaits. Just remember, even Rome wasn't built in a day, but hey, they didn’t have this ebook, did they?

‘Kitchen Table Empires’ is a value-packed 157-page Business Guide (& ongoing resource book at your fingertips) for the budding entrepreneur or business owner that will potentially save you thousands of dollars, wasted time, and possible penalties if you get it wrong.

WHY THIS BOOK WAS WRITTEN
November 2020, I had a conversation with my Xero Partner Manager, he mentioned that since Covid hit over 150,000 new ABNs had been issued. Ahhh I thought that’s why we are getting so many new clients asking the same questions over and over. People are switching their focus and trying something new!
We had 10 new clients asking the same questions, 20 clients, 30 clients, 50 clients. I knew that if these people had trouble finding easy to understand information then there must be many more entrepreneurs who were looking and asking the same questions. I started documenting questions and developing information that I could easily send out to clients.
It worked! Clients loved the easy to understand information!
I found myself pulling information from a lot of different sources so I created this eBook to compile all of the relevant information for starting a business in one place, with helpful links and resources.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
To be honest, I’m an accidental accountant. It wasn’t until my early thirties that an opportunity arose to work with numbers. Over time I felt the grind. There had to be something more and I wanted to design my own path. I wanted to create a business that thrives on the relationships we build with our clients. I had dreams and understood that there was a way to engage with clients on a more personal level.
For me, there’s always the next level in business. How can we help even more people? Working for yourself can be challenging, lonely, frustrating, rewarding. You’ll learn more about yourself and people in a short space of time, and find kindness and connections in the most unlikely of places.
So take a chance, and find out what you’re made of.
